Former WWE announcer Samantha Irvin claims that her music video has been “shadow banned” from YouTube

In April of 2025, former WWE announcer Samantha Irvin released an official music video for her song Shawty Wanna. However, there appears to be an issue with the video not showing up in YouTube searches. On May 1st, Samantha’s husband Ricochet wrote the following message via Twitter/X…

“Hey @youtube, why doesnt @SamanthaTheBomb’s video pop up when I type “Samantha The Bomb Shawty Wanna Music Video”??? Seems fishy.”

Samantha wrote, “Welp, my music video is completely shadow banned on YouTube.” When a fan asked if people were reporting her video, Samantha responded with “Oh a lot of them did, they were bragging in the comments.” When another fan questioned why people would do that, Samantha wrote that it’s because she’s “not there to let them know how much everybody weighs.”
