Report: Britt Baker is “actively seeking to part ways with AEW”

In early 2025, there was speculation that AEW star Britt Baker “might be done” with the company following multiple issues. It was later claimed that Britt’s contract “goes for quite a while“ and she could still end up being used again.

According to @WrestleMobs of Bodyslam.net, “sources have confirmed that Britt Baker is actively seeking to part ways with AEW.” It was noted that AEW currently isn’t looking to release Baker from her contract. It was previously reported that Britt signed a five-year deal in 2021 that would keep her under contract for at least another year – not including potential time being added due to injuries.

Earlier this week, Britt fueled speculation about her status with AEW by sharing a quote from Kobi Simmons in an Instagram story. Here is the quote…
