Update on AJ Styles following his loss from the June 2nd 2025 edition of WWE RAW

As seen during the June 2nd 2025 edition of WWE RAW, AJ Styles was pinned by El Grande Americano in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. This led to internet speculation that Styles could be leaving the company along with other veterans such as R-Truth.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com shot down this rumor. Johnson wrote that “for those who have asked if AJ Styles losing on RAW is a sign WWE is finishing him up, we are told he is scheduled regular for RAW tapings going forward.”

CM Punk, who was the third participant in the match on RAW, praised Styles via his Instagram story…

“I’ve got a lot on my plate right now but I’ll always make room for you. Thank you for the boot print on my nose. Let’s not wait 21 years for the next time. You’re a legend.”
